Hello and thank you for checking out PT Spookfest 2010, presented by Lehigh Valley Cruisers Inc, the club, which brought you Northeast Mountain Cruise! This is the first year for the Spookfest, and it is shaping up to be a very unique and fun
event. The dates for Spookfest are Friday, October 15 till Sunday, October 17, 2010. This is a unique combination event, consisting of a Cruise and a Show. The Cruise segment of Spookfest will begin on Friday morning in Tannersville, PA. For those of you who would like to come in on Thursday, please feel free to contact us for information on local hotels. There is a ton of great things to do in the area for early arrivals, including the Crossings Outlet Mall, Mount Airy Casino, antique malls, candle shops and a lot of other fun things! Our departure place will be decided when we see how many will be joining us for the Cruise. The route we are taking will take us through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, with a stop for breakfast at Perkins. Some of the stops along the way will include a fantastic candy shop in New York state, a great antique mall in VT for you to look for treasures, and maybe find a unique item that is haunted?!? The Hemmings Auto News Car Museum will be another stop. They have a lot of great old cars on display, and best of all, it’s FREE! We are planning to arrive in Lake George, NY around 3pm. That will give everyone time to get settled in the hotel and relax, maybe come outside and get to know new friends, or talk to old friends! Dinner Friday night will be on your own, there is a huge amount of great places to eat around town, and lots of fun things to do in Lake George Village after you eat. At 8pm, we will meet back at the hotel to hold our Ghoulish Glow Show! Don't forget to bring along your best costumes, there will be awards for best costume and best Halloween display! For something unique and fun, we will be having car-to-car Trick or Treating, so bring along some treats for your favorite ghouls and goblins! Saturday morning will be the Show segment of Spookfest, and will run from 10am till 2pm. Trophies and special awards will be given out at 2. Door prizes will be given away throughout the day. The rest of Saturday will be on your own to enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. Upstate NY and VT offer a huge variety of things to do, including several haunted forts! We may be making arrangements for a group dinner on Saturday night, or else dinner will be on your own. Sunday will be time to pack up the cars, say our goodbyes and head for home! Registration for PT Spookfest will be $25.00, payable at the registration table at the hotel on Friday and Saturday at the show. There is no additional charge for joining us on the Cruise. Your registration will include a great Creepy Goody Bag.
